Your run is written to the device itself, not to a server, so it survives closing the app and restarting the device. It does not survive deleting the app — removing Moirai removes the save with it.
If a run vanished while the app stayed installed, write in below and say which act you were in and what you did last. That detail is what lets us reproduce it.
There is no account and no cloud sync, so a save does not follow you between devices on its own. An encrypted device backup restored onto the new device brings the save across with everything else.
No. Both are optional and attached to a single feature each — the camera carves your own likeness onto the traveller's wax tablet, and the photo library lets you choose a portrait or save Chronicle pages and ending scrolls. Decline either one and the rest of the game plays exactly the same.
You can change your mind at any time in the iOS Settings › Moirai panel.
The wards send word when a voyage has gone quiet for a while. Turn them off inside the game under Settings, or system-wide under Settings › Notifications › Moirai. If you allowed them but nothing comes through, check that Focus modes and Scheduled Summary are not holding them back.
Yes. The entire game — six acts, thirty-four decision points, six duels, eight diversions, five endings — runs on the device. Nothing is streamed and nothing is fetched mid-run.
English, Spanish, Simplified Chinese, Hindi and Arabic. Moirai follows your device language; change it under Settings › Moirai › Language, or switch inside the game's own Settings station.
There are five, and one of them is not reachable on a first run by accident. The Chronicle station records which you have seen and keeps the unseen ones sealed. Kleos and Nostos rarely move in the same direction — a run that maximises one is unlikely to find the ending that belongs to the other.
Open Settings inside the game and reseat the threads to wipe the current run, or delete the app from your device to remove every trace — save, Chronicle, portrait and preferences — in one step. Neither action needs our involvement, because none of it ever left your device.
Moirai honours the system Dynamic Type size and the Reduce Motion setting, which stills the shimmer and breath animations. Sound, haptics and the typewriter narration speed each have their own control in the game's Settings station.
